How do I clip in my Elite Hair Australia extensions?
- Start with clean, dry hair and comb thoroughly to remove tangles.
- Section your hair horizontally using a tail comb, starting at the nape of your neck.
- Pop open the silicone-lined pressure clips on the weft.
- Lightly backcomb the roots of your natural hair where the clip will grip for maximum hold.
- Position the weft, slide the teeth into your roots, and press firm to snap closed.
- Release the next section of natural hair and work upward toward your crown.
Do I need to wash my Clip-Ins before wearing them?
No. Your Elite Hair Australia clip-ins arrive pre-cleansed, conditioned, and styled—ready to wear straight out of the box.
How often should Clip-In extensions be washed?
Unlike permanent extensions, clip-ins do not receive natural scalp oils. Wash them only when styling product buildup accumulates or after every 10 to 20 wears. Less frequent washing extends the lifespan of the hair strands.
How should I dry my clip-ins after washing?
Gently press excess water out using a microfiber towel—never rub or wring the hair. We recommend air drying your tracks flat on a clean towel or using a specialized extension coat hanger. If blow-drying is necessary, apply a heat protectant and use a low/cool temperature setting.
Can I sleep in clip-in extensions?
We strongly advise against sleeping in clip-in extensions. Tossing and turning creates severe friction, leading to matting, tangling, and unnecessary tension on your natural hair roots. Always unclip and store them before bed.

How long does my natural hair need to be?

Can my clip-in extensions be dyed?
Because our clip-ins are crafted from 100% Remy human hair, they can be deposit-toned or darkened by a professional hairdresser. Bleaching or lightening is not recommended as it degrades hair health. Chemical treatments done independently void warranty claims.
Can I use heat styling tools on my clip-in extensions?
Yes! You can curl, wave, or flat-iron your clip-ins just like natural hair. Always apply a quality thermal heat protectant and keep styling tools below 180°C to keep the hair silk-smooth and healthy.
