As a manufacturer and wholesaler, we understand the physics of hair ventilation. Traditional "basin soaking" can lead to internal matting. Our Vertical-Flow Method is designed to keep your unit voluminous and shed-free.
Step 1: The Essential Prep
Before introducing water, the hair must be completely free of tangles. Use a professional detangling brush, starting from the tips and working upward toward the crown. This prevents unnecessary tension on the lace mesh during the wash.
Step 2: Clearing the Lace
For those who occasionally use adhesive on their glueless units: Never pull on dry glue. Use a lace-release solvent to dissolve residue first. Glueless wearers should still wipe the lace perimeter with a damp cloth to remove any scalp oils or makeup buildup.
Step 3: The Vertical Hydro-Wash
Hold the unit by the internal crown and let lukewarm water flow downward. Apply a sulfate-free shampoo in a smoothing, downward motion. This aligns the cuticles and prevents "inversion"—where hair pulls through to the inside of the cap.
